This comes straight from Marko’s blog, and it’s got just enough potential for awesome activities, I thought I’d pass it along.
“ok, this has ‘great youth group activity’ written all over it: tape sculptures. click through the tutorial to get a quick sense of how to make these, then look at the gallery. i’m guessing your mind will be buzzing (if you’re a youth worker) with ways you could use this for fun or teaching (or both). you could easily create a whole new kind of photo scavenger hunt, with teams making their own tape sculpture, then getting pics of it in various places. or, have groups (or the whole group) make these when you’re talking about identity or creation or lots of other subjects it for which it would provide a tactile basis for discussion (as well as time for discussion).
