my wife works at a small school district where they hold an annual pie contest. she told me about it i thought it was ridiculous enough to share

the challenge: to make the best tasting pie of all the staff
the votes: each teacher in the school gets a vote for which pie is best.
the prize: the winning staff member is crowned with a tiara for the day.

the catch: the votes are counted, and the crown bestowed on “pie day”, march 14…because, after all, pi=3.14
