i’ve been watching cnn since i got home from a youth council meeting at my church. it’s 10:48pm and barack obama is speaking, live, at chicago. i’m excited by his speaking, and his message. as i listen to him speak, whether it be intentional or not, i realize that he sounds an awful lot like abe lincoln…not in his message necessarily, but in his intonation…in his phrasing…in his ability to beautifully articulate his thoughts to inspire people. not people with deep pockets, but common people, poor people, black, white, hispanic, and asian people…

i’ve got goosebumps. amazing.
